Kick Off to the Roseville-Mahtomedi Marauders

Please read the following as this is vital information for the upcoming season.

Registration/Participation/ Rostering

Skaters and goalies should have already registered with their home association and paid their appropriate registration fees.

Each Association will retain the membership dues of the girls registered with their home association. Each parent/guardian of a 10u, 12u, or 15u player will be a member of the RMH (Roseville-Mahtomedi Hockey) co-op. Registrants will roster everyone under Minnesota Hockey rules on Roseville - Mahtomedi teams.

ACTION ITEM

In addition to registering with your home association, all families must ALSO register their daughters on the Marauders website www.maraudershockey.org. This is a non-monetary registration and where all communications, schedules, and ice times will be posted.

How to:

1. Click on PROGRAMS at the top of this page
2. Select your appropriate age level
3. Click on the REGISTER button on the far right and follow the prompts
4. A confirmation will pop up and you will receive a confirmation email

Coaching

The deadline for submitting head & assistant coaching applications for the 22-23 season is September 1st, 2022. More information to follow.

Warm-up ice

Warm-up ice times, which will lead up to tryouts, are included in your registration fees. Warm-up ice will consist of 6 hours minimum in September for 10U - 15U and an additional 8 hours minimum in October for 15U. Warm-up dates & times will be communicated at a later date.

Tryouts

The 10U & 12U tryouts are tentatively scheduled for October 3-9. The 15U tryouts will take place at the beginning of November following high school tryouts. We will send out further information with tryouts dates and times in future communications.

Number of Teams and Levels

Based on registration numbers, the Girl's Directors and the Co-op board will determine the number of teams at the 15U, 12U, and 10U levels. The 15U, 12U, and 10U teams' roster sizes will be determined based on the number of players registered at each level. Per District 2 and Minnesota Hockey rules, the Girls Directors will declare the levels in which those teams are placed (A, B1, B2) before each season. The co-op board will share the final declarations after they have been made to District 2 in September.

Tournaments

Each team will participate in four (4) tournaments, one of which will be out-of-town. We will release the tournament schedules for each team closer to tryouts.

Development

Os Hockey (owned by Winny Brodt Brown) Training will provide skater and goalie development training throughout the season. We believe that the girl’s development is progressed immensely by having skill coaches throughout the season, especially when taught by women that have played a high-level game.

Jerseys, Equipment and Spirit Wear

Jersey numbers will be assigned by Friday, August 19. Players will wear custom-designed jerseys and socks with the Roseville-Mahtomedi logo. We’re working to have the jerseys by the start of District 2 play.

RMH players are encouraged to wear navy breezers, gloves and helmets. Those that have black will be allowed to wear black, however as new equipment is purchased please consider navy as that will be required at the RMH high school level.

Spirit wear is also available, please click here . There will be three ordering waves, the first wave is open and closes on August 29.
